Have you ever wanted to take a class and you were unsure if you would be able to handle it? Well here is your chance to meet our instructors and try a class for free. 

Washington Township Recreation and its instructors are offering a one-time free Exercise & Yoga class.  In lieu of payment for the classes we are asking each participant to give what they can for families in need by donating to the food pantry.  You can bring your item at the time of sign up or on the day the class meets.

For SERIOUS registrants the EXERCISE CLASSES are as follow:

  • Circuit Craze- November 26th   4:15pm-5:30pm
  • Focus Fitness- November 27th 4pm-5:15pm,
  • Low Impact Strength & Cardio- November 28th 3pm-4:15pm,
  • Let’s Move w/Cardio Dance- December 4th 12:30-1:30pm.


For SERIOUS registrants the YOGA CLASSES are as follow:

  • Teen Yoga November 26th  4:15-5:30pm ages 13-17
  • Girls Rock Yoga- December 3rd  5pm-6:15pm for ages 8-12,
  • Beginning/intermediate Yoga- December 12th  9am-10:15pm,
  • Gentle Mat Yoga- December 12th  11:30am-12:45pm,
  • Chair Yoga- December 13th  12pm-1:15pm, 
  • Mixed Level Mat Yoga -December 13th  4:15pm-5:30pm





All classes are scheduled to be held at Washington Township Senior Center, 35 East Springtown Rd., L.V., NJ.  The Teen Yoga Class will be held at the LV Teen Arts Center, 214 West Mill Rd., L.V.   You must pre-register for the classes.  Space is limited so register early.  Deadline dates are posted on the registration form.

Once again we are calling all residents to be on the Lookout for a “Washington Township Senior Citizen of the Year!” Once spotted, be the first to nominate that special senior by filling out a Nomination form found on the senior website!

To qualify, the senior must have the following:

  • Be a Washington Township resident.
  • Volunteer work throughout the year to benefit other Seniors
  • Participate in Senior groups and programs
  • Participate in Community organizations

Washington Township Recreation is sponsoring a full day adventure bus trip of shopping dinning and a show in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Lancaster PA on Saturday, November 10, 2018.  Bus leaves the Senior Center, located at RSP/35 East Springtown Road, Long Valley at 8:30am and will return approx. 8:00pm. 

Show starts at 3pm which gives us plenty of time to shop at “Rockvale Outlets,” “Pennsylvania’s favorite outlet mall, with more than 70 brands featuring high-end and premium brands you love!” “When you’re ready to take a break from shopping and grab lunch, you’ll find nine restaurants conveniently located right inside the outlet mall complex.”                        

Witness the magic and splendor of this holiday celebration as AMT presents "The First Noel," featuring wondrous costumes, astonishing dancers, breathtaking sets, and all the endearment of a perfect fireside family moment! Bask in beautiful snowscapes and cherish the stories of spirit and love as we bring all your favorite sights and sounds to the stage. This year's all-new holiday show features your favorite seasonal and sacred songs - songs brought to life by marvelous vocal talent from across the country, accompanied by their masterful AMT Orchestra.

Upon your return all will receive a Signature lunchbox meal from the well-known, HoneyBaked Ham Catering & Cafe of Lancaster to enjoy on the ride home.

Nonrefundable fees for the tickets in the left rear mezzanine seating section are  $60 for Residents and $65 for Non Residents. Tickets are sold on first come basis. Program Registration Procedure

You may register in in person, online or by mail.  The Recreation office is open Monday– Friday 8am-4pm (except summer hours). A registration form must be properly filled out, signed and submitted with your payment and also when processing payments online(receipt must be attached).  For more information please click on the link:  Procedure

Refund Policy

There are NO REFUNDS on any of our programs except for the following:

Full refunds will be issued for any program cancelled by the Recreation Dept.

Refunds will be given for medical issues related to that activity when accompanied by a doctor’s note. A letter in writing must be provided at that time.

All Refunds are done by purchase orders and then checks will be mailed out. It takes three to five weeks to receive a refund. This procedure includes registrations paid by credit card.
