My name is Jeff Mohre and I have had the honor of serving the Washington TownshipSchools for ten years as its Superintendent. I am writing today to make sure you are aware that we will be hosting a specialelection on Tuesday,January 28th in order to supportthe continued maintenance of the children’sschools. What makes this election “special”is the fact that it is a School Bond Referendum Election. What makes it “extra special” is that your Washington Township Schools strongly anticipates that No New Tax Dollars will be Needed to Support the Building Projects!!! Please allow me this opportunity to explain…

If the election vote is a successful one, the State of New Jerseywill give the Washington Township Schools a grantaward of $1,670,000 to supportthe completion of the projects(Partial Roof Replacements  and  HVAC/Electrical Upgrades). The Board of Education will  combine  the

$1,670,000 with maintenance moniesit already has to satisfythe costs associated with the projects. This is why we strongly anticipate a tax impactof $0.

I will be hosting two special daytimegatherings (complete with coffee, tea, and cake) for our community’s seniorsto learn more about this exciting opportunity for our schools.I cordially invite you to join me for one of the following sessions designed especially for our seniors:
