The Washington Township Senior Program is offering The VITA Program, (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) a free Federal and State Income Tax preparation through VITA volunteer accountant John Maine.

If you have a simple return (1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, Schedules A&B), call to make your appointment. Sessions will be held at the Senior Center, located in Rock Spring Park, off East Springtown Road, Washington Township (Morris County) on Friday, March 5th from 9 AM – 3 PM.

You qualify by being a senior, have a disability, and/or are a low-income worker. Those who qualify should bring your 2008 tax returns, 2009 W-2’s, 1099’s and any other relevant forms
