The Washington Township Parks & Recreation is again offering the popular AARP Driver Safety Program to seniors and all others who care to keep current with safe driving tips and test their reaction time during class. This is a non-behind the wheel class and, upon completion, a participant may realize a 5% reduction in their auto insurance if they qualify. Two points will be expunged off of your license (if you have any) for a motor vehicle violation.

This two-day class will be offered on October 15th and October 22nd from 9AM-1PM (approx.) at the Washington Township Senior Center located in Rock Spring Park, Schooley’s Mountain, Long Valley. The deadline for signing up is October 1, 2008 and the cost is $10 per person. Checks must be made out to AARP, and participants must attend both sessions to receive the insurance discount.

Please bring a sack lunch. Please also bring to the first class a check made out to AARP.
