Long Valley's Planter Palooza-- beautifying downtown one small garden at a time.' We're looking for a few good teams....to plant and maintain the most beautiful container gardens in downtown Long Valley.

Teams will plant and maintain (water, feed, etc.) their container starting in May through September. Teams can use any design/combination of plants you'd like...creativity and experimentation are encouraged. Think of a fun team name and a theme for your creation. This contest is open to all members of the community - businesses, organizations, families and friends.

The containers are located at various locations on East Mill and Schooley’s Mountain Road. All entrants will be posted on the Long Valley Village Assoc's website. Voting (on www.lvva.org) will start in May and continue throughout the summer.

Plant Detectives (Chester) and Hoffman’s Suppy (Long Valley) have graciously offered to give all entrants a 20% discount on plant material for the containers. Additional garden center/ nursery sponsorship would be most welcome.
