Washington Township
expects to distribute H1N1 vaccinations later this fall. Please
check with your health care provider to see if your provider
is participating in the vaccine program.
H1N1 VACCINATION CLINICS
The Washington Township Health Department will be sponsoring H1N1 flu clinic vaccinations to individuals in the following at risk groups:
- Pregnant women ()

- Household contacts and caregivers of children younger than 6 months
- Individuals 6 months to 24 years of age
- Individuals 25 to 64 years of age with health conditions
associated with high risk of medical complications from
influenza
- Health care workers and first responders with
direct patient contact
Please be advised that the H1N1 vaccine, currently
available to Washington Township, contains thimerosal, a mercury-based
preservative that has been used for decades in the United States
in multi-dose vials (vials containing more than one dose) of
some vaccines to prevent the growth of microorganisms.
