Emergency Notification System
In October 2008, a severe winter storm made significant portions of Washington Township impassible for traffic. Additionally, the storm caused prolonged disruption to power, telephone, and cable service. Since then, the Washington Township Committee has been investigating low cost, efficient methods of contacting Washington Township residents in situations where the timely dissemination of information will assist the residents of Washington Township.
As part of that process, the Washington Township Committee
would like to determine the level community interest in receiving information.
If you would be interested in participating, assuming there is sufficient
community interest to justify the effort, please complete the form below.
We hope to accommodate cell phones with calls and/or text messages. We
will evaluate the level of interest within the next 90 days.
Please tell your neighbors, relatives, and friends about our efforts to determine the community interest, as the level of participation will if the program in implemented.
When making your choices, please keep in mind that during an emergency, you may not have power, wired telephone, cable or internet service to your residence
Please select the method/device you would like to be notified by in order of preference.
