Health Measures
BLOOD
PRESSURE SCREENING
Free blood pressure screenings are conducted by our Public
Health Nurse, on the 4th Thursday of every month at the
Long Valley Pharmacy on Route 24 from 12:30 PM to 2:30
PM.
Blood pressure screenings are also given at the Washington
Township Senior Center, located in Rock Spring Park on
the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM.
CHILD
HEALTH CLINICS
Child
Health Clinics are held bimonthly on the first Thursday
of every even numbered month at the Long Valley Presbyterian
Church on Bartley Road from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
The
fee is $10.00 per visit per child. Call the Health Department
to register. Children from birth to kindergarten are eligible
to receive: physicals, immunizations, T.B., anemia & lead
testing, growth & development screening and urinalysis.
In
case of hardship or inability to pay, the fee may be waived.
CANCER
SCREENING CLINICS
Male
and female clinics for Cancer Screening are generally held
once a year in the Spring. Contact the Health Department

BLOOD
TESTING
SMAC
Blood Testing is held at the Long Valley First Aid Squad
building on 70 East Mill Road in the Fall. There is a fee.

The
Health Department runs additional blood screening for a fee
at the same time. Please check the or for additional information.
FLU
CLINIC
The
Health Department holds a flu vaccination clinic in the Fall.
Residents are required to be 18 years of age or older. There
is a fee. Residents with Part B Medicare must pre-register
